What we collect and why

We collect your name, email address, telephone number, products, order total and collection date to process your order, arrange collection and contact you if there is a problem. We use this information to perform the contract for your order. Marketing is optional. You can choose whether to subscribe at checkout and unsubscribe from marketing emails.

Where the information goes

The checkout and order records are managed through our existing IONOS online shop, powered by Ecwid/Lightspeed. Order notifications are delivered to our business email accounts and are accessible to authorised Mea Via staff. OpenAI Sites/Cloudflare hosts the website pages. These service providers process information to operate the website, checkout and email services; their infrastructure may process information outside the UK under their applicable data protection arrangements.

How long it is kept

We keep order information for collection, handling order queries and the legal record-keeping requirements that apply to the transaction. Contact us to request deletion of contact details that are no longer needed. We review these requests against any records we are required to keep.

Your rights

You may ask for access to, correction or deletion of your personal information, restriction of processing or a portable copy where applicable. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact info@meavia.co.uk. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner's Office.
